Memories of Love
My first date with Andrea in August, 2011, was incredible. We were immediately inseparable and saw each other every day after that, as we had fallen deeply in love! That first year was the happiest time in our lives, and we wanted the bliss we shared to last forever! About the time of our one-year anniversary, we found out my beloved Andrea had breast cancer. Her diagnosis was devastating. That day, with tears in her eyes, she told me that I didn’t sign up for this, and I should go find a healthy woman. Incredible! She had just found out that she had cancer, and she was more concerned about me! I embraced her and said we would get through this together. I took her to 82 doctor appointments and held her and kissed her as she progressed with treatment and surgeries. She is an absolutely incredible woman and I am thankful for every day we share together.
This bra includes stamps and postmarks from love letters that she recently found from the two relationships she had during her late teens and early twenties. We wonder what might have been if we had met earlier in our lives, and I had written those letters. Our lives have been forever changed by breast cancer and she is a survivor! We appreciate every day we can be together to share our love with each other, family and friends!
