Strut Your Stuff

Even at my lowest moments I donned my wig and scarf and strutted my stuff, proud as a peacock. When I was first diagnosed I could only focus on the loss of my hair. I only temporarily lost the external beauty but I discovered an inner beauty and was able to hold my head up high. The peacock is the most beautiful bird among all birds and I have met some of the most beautiful people along the way. I was inspired by the survivors who came before me, those who guided me and those who are and always will be in my corner.
