La Fleur d’ Automne

“La Fleur d’Automne” bra is inspired by the fall season in Utica College; it marks the beautiful transition from the energetic hot summer into the beautifully cold winter. The key color of the bra is orange because it represents the shedding leaves in autumn, and it is also Utica College’s main color.

Autumn really inspires me, since this is the time when everything bursts with its last beauty. When a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, her life will change forever, both physically and mentally. Emotional chaos. Mental fears. Physical pain. Desperation. Depression. They can all happen to a woman at this stage. Being diagnosed with breast cancer is similar to changing from summer to winter and autumn is the transition. Many people believe that autumn is such a long waiting period of time to winter where there are only sadness and gloominess. Others think that autumn is a pleasant time when people can actually feel and enjoy the slightest changes in the atmosphere. Because when the leaves change their color and fall off the trees, there are still some flowers trying to bloom and show their last beauty before the winter comes.
